Walk the gold diggings, explore the creek, listen to the bird song and the frogs croaking as the sun dips behind the gum trees.
Cosy up inside by the fire or outside with your back resting on the convict bricks.
All with a local glass of wine or a Stein of ALK Porter sharing a chatter platter of locally sourced treats.
A couples retreat, providing a chance to step back in time, showcasing carefully chosen preloved, period, recycled relics.
As soon as you enter, you'll immerse yourself in history.
A time warp of days long ago and a minimalistic charmed culture.
Watch the rabbits scurry around the rocks and birds busying themselves in the grasses. Wander the slow-flowing creek and listen to the Currawongs serenading each step you take.
This is a place to slow down, breathe with life unhurried, explore the joy’s of community and the sacred land that is our backyard.
It’s a place to remember what was and most of all, immerse yourself in it’s old ways while appreciating the present.
The Old Brick Pub offers the following:
Two King sized beds with luxe linen and Australian cotton and Australian Woollen blankets.
Comfortable Loungeroom with wood fireplace period lighting mood setting.
Record Player and LP's
Games, books and Australian magazines.
Fully equipped kitchen electric stove, hotplates, microwave, fridge/freezer.
Cutlery, dinnerware, glasses, pots & pans.
Weber BBQ
Staples items - Bushranger Tea, Art of Espresso freshly ground Coffee, Salt & Pepper, Oakridge Grove Olive oil, Anzac biscuits.
Bathroom - Shower, toilet, towels, soap, toilet paper.
Indoor fireplace: wood burning, Natural Gas heater, ceiling fans.
During your stay enjoy complimentary gourmet goodies such as Art of Espresso coffee locally roasted and blended, Ballinaclash Quince or Cherry jam, delectable chocolate coated cherries from Poppa's Fudge and Jam Factory, local honey & olive oil from Oakridge Grove.
Payment, Cancellation & Booking Policy.
Please be sure to read through our policies before booking.
1. Online Reservation:
All Reservation requests are subject to confirmation when booked online. We will be in touch personally via phone to discuss additional details about your stay. Your Reservation will normally be processed during office hours within 24 hours once We have confirmed receiving it.. Confirmation of Your booking will only be given by Us once We receive Your Booking Payment.
2. A minimum of Two Nights Stay is required for all bookings.
3. Payment Terms:
Until Your Booking Payment is received by Us Your booking is not confirmed. Invoices are issued, and payment must be made within 3 days, in Australian dollars (AUD). We accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal payments or Direct Deposits reference your last name and invoice number.
5. Cancellations:
If you cancel your booking, a full refund will be made to you if cancelled within 30 days of your booking, less than 30 days will incur a cancellation fee of $110
6. Guest Details:
By signing and accepting these Terms and Conditions You will be the Registered Guest. The Registered Guest’s name must exactly match the name provided at the time of booking. The Registered Guest is responsible for the Property and its contents for the entire period of Your booking and will be liable for all breakages and damages however caused by any Guest regardless of whether You are present or not at the time the damage occurs. It is the responsibility of the Registered Guest named in the booking confirmation to ensure all guests are aware of the booking terms and conditions. All booking variations and cancellations must be made by the Registered Guest only.
7. ID Verification:
To confirm Your booking, You will be required to supply an image of your Drivers Licence and Credit Card.
8. Occupancy Limits:
Our occupancy limit for the Old Brick Pub is strictly 4 people and not suitable for children. Any other use or events MUST be coordinated, arranged and accepted in writing prior to your stay in a separate agreement made by Us.
9. Linen & Servicing:
Linen is provided with bath towels. Bedroom 1 ~ One king size bed configuration is provided. Bedroom 2 ~ One king size bed or Two Long Single Beds.
Please advise when booking.
The Property will not be serviced during your 2-night stay. Discussions about the length of your stay will determine additional linen.
10. Arrival/Departure Times:
Arrival time is after 2 pm, with departure by 11 am your final day. Further instructions will be emailed to you the day of your booking.
11. No Smoking Policy:
Smoking inside the Old Brick Pub is strictly prohibited. There are no exceptions to this. Any evidence of smoking or butts left at the Property will result in additional charges for cleaning.
12. Pet Policy:
Unfortunately, we cannot accept dogs or household pets as we have an abundance of wildlife and need to protect and allow a safe environment for them.
13. Creek:
Please do not enter the water and respect the wildlife in this area. Entering the creek is strictly prohibited.
14. Fires inside and out:
Please only use the wood fire if you know how to use one. Extra wood will be stacked outside for use. The outdoor fire pit is also nice to sit around in the colder months. Fires inside and out are NOT Permitted during a total fire ban refer to the NSW RURAL FIRE SERVICE https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au before you light a fire.
The fire Extinguisher and Fire Blanket are located under the kitchen sink.
15. Vacating the Property:
You must vacate the Property in the clean state you found it on arrival. As a guide this typically includes washing all dishes, cleaning the BBQ, and putting ALL rubbish and recycling in the bins provided.
16. Property Damage:
You must inform Us immediately of any damages relating to the Property and/or its contents. The Property will be inspected by Us as soon as practical after Your departure. Broken items are understandable. Leave the item out so it can be replaced. Malicious Damage and Theft on the other hand will be reported to the Police, these costs relating to Property damage You agree to reimburse Us.
17. Limitation of Liability:
We do our best to ensure Your booking arrangements are satisfactory, however, We do not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses, or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control including, but not limited to, incidents at the Property, owner cancellations.
18. Disclaimer:
Whilst all care and attention is taken by Us to ensure the Property is maintained and configured to a high standard and conforms with the descriptions on Our website and representations made by Us when booking, this is a historic property and as such does not offer the usual services of a traditional property.
19. Breaches:
If you breach any of these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right at Our complete discretion and using reasonable judgment to terminate your booking and evict You from the Property immediately. In such an event You will forfeit any future night’s stay and We will not be liable to refund You for any forfeited nights.
